Mirpur Ceramic Works Limited and Khadim Ceramics Limited organized first-ever “Pavilion Design Competition 2019” for the students of the Department of Architecture of the University of Asia Pacific.

The whole competition was consisted of visiting flagship showroom, presentation about products and site survey so that students can get practical experience to design for the Expo. Students were given the opportunity to build their masterpiece as a team or as an individual and win a chance to see their design come to life at Ceramic Expo Bangladesh which will be held on December 2019 at Bashundhara Convention Hall in Dhaka.

After a month-long hard work of designing and submission, winners were selected by a dedicated jury panel and awarded on 22nd October 2019 at the Award Ceremony held at the premises of the University of Asia Pacific. It was quite an amazing event for all the participants as well as the organizers. Though it was our very first pavilion design competition in collaboration with university students, we hope we will continue to arrange such an event in upcoming days.
